  1. Ring up a sale

    Scan a barcode or tap a best seller. Promotions and VAT are worked out for the cashier.

  2. Stock drops by itself

    Every bottle sold comes off stock straight away, with who sold it and when. Nothing can be edited or deleted.

  3. Get a low-stock alert

    Tessera warns you when fast movers reach their reorder level, so you restock before you run out.

  4. Take M-Pesa on the till

    The cashier sends the payment request to the customer's phone. The sale only closes when M-Pesa confirms.

M-Pesa built in

Customers pay from their phone. Your till knows straight away.

  1. The cashier sends the request One tap on the till sends an M-Pesa prompt to the customer's phone.
  2. The customer enters their PIN They confirm the amount and enter their M-Pesa PIN, like any STK Push.
  3. The till shows "Payment received" No codes to type in or check later. The sale is closed and reconciled.

Does Tessera work with M-Pesa?

Yes. The till sends an M-Pesa payment request to the customer's phone and shows the payment as soon as it is confirmed. Payments made straight to your Paybill or Till number can be matched to sales as well.

What happens if the internet goes down?

Tessera POS keeps selling. Sales made offline get a provisional receipt number and are sent to the server when the connection returns. M-Pesa payments and manager approvals wait for the connection.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. Every Tessera system works on computers, tablets and phones.

Who can see what in the system?

Each staff member has a role, such as cashier, branch manager or owner, and only sees what that role allows. Owners and admins sign in with two-step login, and important actions are recorded in an audit log that cannot be edited.

Do you train my staff?

Yes. Training is part of every setup, and we support you by phone and WhatsApp after go-live.

How much does it cost?
